Why is Yahoo search redirecting me to dozens of different sites I dont want to go to!?

Every time I click on a link it takes me to quicklex.com or shopping.com.. adds.. it wont take me where I want to go.

It is probably because you have a browser hijacker

"A browser hijacker is a form of malware or spyware that replaces the existing internet browser home page, error page, or search page with its own. These are generally used to force hits to a particular website."

Try downloading a spyware to get rid of them such as spyware doctor from google pack :

is yahoo set as your home page, if you tools options in internet explorer somewhere theres a setting to change your home page, try changing it to www.google.co.uk, exit ie and then reopen it again if it goes back to the yahoo page again i would run your spyware software coz you may have a trojan or adware problem.  hope that helps
