Why is Yahoo so pro Obama?

Every time I go on the homepage, there is something pro Obama, and it is usually something negative towards McCain. I am just trying to understand why, don't want to start a politics battle or anything.

  1. Yahoo is comprised of internet degenerates who would be working at 7-11 if it were'nt for Silicon valley, and since the preferred choice of political party for degenerates is Democrats, the answer is obvious.

  2. I'll stick my head out here.... Most of the people whom support Obama are more attuned to the internet. Being Obama and his campaign gets most of it's campaign funds from their website.

Let's be honest here how many of you went to a town hall meeting? It's easier to go to Obama's website (which is done well) and navigate through his media and store then it is to attend a town hall meeting.

With the Obama camp making use of the internet you can probably correlate that to the vast support of Obama on yahoo answers.

Another thought: If "Yahoo" is so pro Obama why don't they add his name to that irritating spell checker.

  3. The media in general is comprised of mostly liberal Democrats....so, there's your answer.  The rest of us run the country.

  4. dont worry it will all be over soon.hillary will steal the spotlight tonight and all the libs will go back to squabbling over who should have been in the whitehous eafter mcCain beats biden.the delagates are screaming at each other at the convention already.

  5. I tend to think that a lot of the users of internet based news and other content offered by someone like Yahoo are younger, and the youth these days are loving the "hope" platform.

  6. I don't know what your reading! I see plenty of garbage on here. I guess you Cons can't get enough negativity.

  7. I don't know what the heck you're talking about.  Yahoo's home page takes its feeds largely from the Associated Press and their articles have been decidedly pro-McCain.  For the next few days you will see a lot of articles about Obama and the Democratic National Convention on the home page because it is the current big event.  That will change once the convention is over, that's for sure.

  8. Weather or not you want to start a politics battle you will get one when you are saying something that may be taken offensively (especially to a democrat or liberal).

The reason you see so much about Obama:

    1. Is because of his outrageous views(communist/socialist which are completely opposite to what kind of government we have now)

    2. He is the first African American that has been nominated to such a high position

    3. He has little experiance that comes along with unrealistic goals(at least when you are talking about a 4 year period).

    4. A lot of people are tired of Bush, which I can't blame them for and he has more opposite on his America than McCain does when you are comparing them to Bush's America.

Ok, I know I'm going to get a lot of negative comments but hey I'm an American and I am choosing to exercise my freedom of speech. If you take great offense to what I have written then get tougher skin. I personally wish we had better choices than McCain and Obama.

  9. Clearly, you haven't been paying attention:

    So much for that lie.

Now that you've been schooled, feel free to say you're sorry or delete this drivel.

  10. Right now, it is the DNC. Of course, there is going to be major headlines about them for now. When the RNC starts up, you are going to see all of the headlines geared towards McCain. What I think will happen that will get a lot of coverage is that I can see a lot of protests against the Republican party, and that will not so much overshadow McCain but definitely hang a dark cloud over it.

  11. The key decisions that will have to made by the president of the United States in the next four years will shape the future of the world for at least the first half of the twenty-first century. No administration since World War II has faced such momentous choices.

i will vote Obama.he is the hope of many changes in better ways.

  12. Obama is the media's darling and he has done well for himself. He has allegedly gotten over his drug addiction and now if he can stop his constant lying and his delusions of grandeur he may amount to something in sometime in the next ten or so years, but now he needs to go back to Chicago and do his stuff.

  13. That's interesting. When I visit the homepage I see just the opposite.
