Why is Yahoo using my unselected email address to send mail?

I have selected my preferred email address in my membership settings, yet Yahoo keeps using the alternate email address to send my moderated emails. This results in unwanted solicitation from members to my home email address.

You must change the email address on all the groups you are subscribed. Do that quickly by going to "MY Groups" by clicking on this link: http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups .

Click "Edit My Groups" tab.

For each group listed, use the corresponding drop-down arrow and select the desired email address.

Click Save Changes.

I am having the same problem and I did the things you said. and messages are still being sent to the old email (which I even deleted)

make sure that second e-mail has been confirmed- could be why it keeps flipping back- you need to do this per group settings

check your settings here and change them, and then save

if they won't stay, then go to the group and change them under "edit my membership"
