So, some people are like 1000 calories is so low for a diet. You'll get sick blah, blah, you can't survive on that etc. But I have about 800 - 1000 calories daily when I am not on a diet. It's kinda hard for me to eat. W H Y ? :3

  1. Everyone needs different amounts of food and calories and sugars and carbs to be healthy. a 6'4'' man sitting on a couch all day burns more calories than you sitting on the couch all day. I'm a lot taller and bigger than my roomie and I have to eat more than her or more often then her to feel full. Things such as activity level, age, height, weight, s*x matter.

  2.   Some people are more active then others, so they need more energy, which means more calories. Everyone is different, everyones bodies are different and act in different ways.  It all depends on your age, weight and height, and activity level. If you do very little activity and 1000 calories is ok. If you want to stay the same weight. If you want to lose weight then you would eat less calories then normal, plus work out.

  3. b/c everyone is not you♥ You cant assume that what you eat is the norm for everyone else♥ Besides, it is proven that 1000 cals is too low. And if you are not on a diet, then why are you counting cals anyways?

  4. On average, mean should be taking in about 2,000 calories each day and women about 1,500 calories each day. However, every body is different and that is just an average. There are two possibilities here: either you have something telling you to eat less than you should actually be eating (maybe a virus or maybe your glycogen level is too high, there could be several causes, really), or simply, you are at the lower end of the spectrum in terms of how many calories you should be taking in (1,500 calories is an average, and so not for everyone). Either way, I would consult a doctor just in case.

  5. An 1000 calorie diet is unhealthy. I'm recovering from an eating disorder and all of my doctors told me that it can cause many problems that you can't actually see yourself until you get sick. Your body burns off calories no matter what. You can be laying in bed all day and your body will burn calories. Also, your body can starve into starvation mode. If you don't have enough calories in your body, it will be difficult for your blood to circulate throughout your entire body. Your internal organs could eventually start shutting down and your heart can become weak. It's very dangerous and if you don't believe it, you can talk to a doctor or a nutritionist about its affects. I suggest anywhere from 1700-2500 calories daily for someone who is active. It's healthier, especially if you're still growing and are active.

  6. try reading "skinny *****", a new new york bestseller.

counting your calories isn't really that effective, you should pay more attention to your sugar intake.

certain diets work for different people, so i highly recomened this book. its worked for me and my friends :)

  7. diets are for life dear

  8. I'm only eating around 500 calories a day - now that's nothing.

I can't really eat that much either, i've never been able to eat when i was a kid either. But still i'm the right weight i should be and i'm not too skinny.
