Because it has taste, texture, smell... and all that sensory stuff that makes you want one and enjoy one.

they are good. have you tried making your own? paula deen makes a good one and it is so easy.. she uses canned biscuits...

they are called "chocolate dippy donuts" and they are on the food network site.. you should try them.. if you like them a lot, you would like it even more if you made your own.. :)

whoa weird - i am at this very moment eating a donut with vanilla icing & sprinkles. (i usually prefer chocolate icing but for some reason felt like vanilla today.) something about the combination of flavors is just perfect - i even put it in the microwave for a few seconds so it'd be warm & the flavors would mix together even better! :-)
