  2. "A murder of Crows" or ravens. First birds to descend on a battle site. Carrion eaters. "Food for Ravens", 7th Century description for a warrior fallen in battle. Have you seen a "murder" of them going after a hawk?

  3. Citations are needed for a "Murder" on various websites, while others give an "Unkindness of Ravens" or a "Conspiracy of Ravens". Someone has it in for ravens, obviously!

  4. A group of crows is referred to as a "Murder", a group of ravens is known as an "unkindness" or a "congress".
