  2. A left turn more dangerous than a right turn because you're crossing traffic.

    Hey!   Watch out!   There's a car coming!

  3. That would be because you are crossing TWO lanes of traffic as opposed to the one, if you turn right.

    Think of a picture of an intersection, you'll get it then.

  4. From someone writing from a place where we drive on the right (left) side of the road... it's only more dangerous if you drive on the wrong (right) side of the road.

    If you get my drift.....
