Why is a quarter of my left eye brown?

I have blue eyes but ever since i remember i have a brown bit in my left eye! why? and will this get bigger the older i get? i'm 21 now!

Some cats are born with two different eye colors. Cool!

My daughter has the same thing.  When she was born, it was red, like a blood spot.  Then it changed to brown (with blue eyes).   The doctor told me it's a birthmark.

I would love to know why I got 2 thumbs down?  This is what the DOCTOR TOLD ME when I asked about it.

Mine are mostly brown but partly green, it's just a natural variation. And no, it shouldn't get bigger.

You have a mutated gene!  Just one of those things.  My mother also has blue eyes, and one is partially brown.  The spot has not gotten bigger with age!!
