Question:

Why is a size D the only bra size that is doubled?

I know some brands double other sizes, but in general a size D is the only size that is doubled across the board. Does anyone know why? I understand it is typically a size E, but is there a better explanation?

Thanks!

  2. There are AAs too.

  3. maybe its because the average womens b***s dont get much bigger than a d so maybe dd is like a half size?

  4. it isnt there is also AA

  5. because if you are a  size b or whatever, and you need to double, you'd just go to the  next size up. but if you are bigger than a d, there is no more sizes, so they double. get it?

  6. Because most stores don't carry E+ bras; like Victoria's Secret. So they use DD.
