  1. They chose to go in the military you have to be brave to do that they went into combat and do you know how there treating american pows???????????????

  2. Poor pilot? He graduate from Annapolis, one of the hardest military academy in the US and was a flight instructor before he went into combat.

More than 2000 US aircraft where shot down over Vietnam and more than 70% of them were down by missile.

  3.   Paris Hilton likes him.

    (Just won't vote for him)

  4. Its the way it goes.  He endured all that, never gave up hope, and has made an astonishing career being a selfless servant of the US.  What have you done?

  5. He took it upon himself to sacrifice for and serve his nation. Have you? The other candidate wont even wear a flag on his coat. I wore a flag on my right shoulder every day for 4 years 2 years of which in a middle eastern country. That flag was a source of hope and a driving force for me on many occasions and I was willing to part with my life for it. Obama wot even put an inch by inch one on his lapel. And he wants to lead my country? I cant support someone who doesnt have the same love for this country as I do.

  6. Are you being serious? How is he a poor pilot? By your reasoning then the Red Barron was a poor pilot since he got shot down too, not a very logical view. As for what he did that was special was that he helped keep confidence, morale and esprit de corps while imprisoned for 5 years and tortured when he could have gotten let go early. So, tell me, how is he a poor pilot and how is he not special? I'm waiting.

Drillwifey, the guy who wrote that opinion has an axe to grind with anyone who supports the war, he is activist with the peace and justice movement, nothing he said would make me or anyone less likely to vote for McCain in the fall if they were going to vote for him.

  7. tell me what u have done

  8. He's not and those who served with him in school and as a POW will tell you that.

  9. When he or she  signed up they had more than nationalistic fervour in their veins, they new well the dangers that they could eventually face. Their signing the dotted line was the  act of bravery, which only gets consummated when the soldier falls.

  10. You trying flying a plane while your getting shot at

  11. Hey, Zorcan;

Why is a pretty-boy from Illinois who happens to speak well, but has only 150 days of experience as the junior Senator from Illinois qualified to be the PotUS?

I wonder when Obama is going to be as much a man as McCain and tell his supporters to stop spreading malicious, slanderous lies about his opponent?  You folks whine and moan so much about how poorly Obama is being treated, but resort to the same BS dirty tricks yourselves.

    You should be ashamed.

  12. Have you ever been a POW ? Do you know how to fly an airplane ?

  13. Actually, I don't think of him as a hero for either of those things, as I have seen too much more from so many others in uniform.  That doesn't distract from the fact that he is the better of the two candidates though.

His opponent has NO experience in anything except hating the United States and experiencing Affirmative Action at MY expense.  His opponent is also a hard core racist, married to an "Angela Davis" throw-back.

McCain is hardly MY choice for President... but people who love America and aren't racists don't have any other choice at this point.

  14. im not a POW and i high doubt you were ever a POW. anybody, who fought and served this country is my hero, because he put his life on the line to keep us save. yes, McCain is my hero. YOU HEARD ME SAY IT.

  15. are you serious?.the man was shot down on his 23rd combat mission.badly wounded, then attacked by a mob who stabbed him and crushed his shoulder, his captors would not treat his wounds but severely tortured him with beatings and bindings and god knows what else, the man has physical scars and im sure hes got mental scars from the torture and years of imprisonment he suffered.they beat the man and beat him again every 2 hours for a period.he is special.i dont care what you think.to me he is a hero.you ever get tortured and put in solitary confinement for 2 years like he was?.HE IS A HERO.And hes still around,he didnt fold and break like i would have, hes still around.i admire the man totally.

  16. At least he served his country.

  17. A poor pilot? The USN does not just hand out wings. By earning his USN Wings, he proved his ability to fly. Only a very skilled pilot could land on a carrier.

He is an American Hero because of his actions as a POW. He has served as an example of how to act when one is a POW.

And what have you done to serve your nation?
