up with that? Look I have faced my demons and have not fallen into drugs, alcohol, or s*x or what ever else is out there. I pay my bills on time I work, and I take car of my kids so why do they think I need help by a counselor who don't know S**t.

  1. Seeing a counselor, or a therapist or even a pyschologist doesn't mean there's something wrong with you or your life. I don't want to tell you how to live your life, because it seems that your doing fine, but counselors and such are there to be an outlet, whether you want an outlet to yell at, an outlet to put your head on and cry, an outlet to laugh uncontrollable with, and more. I used to feel that way you do. But as time went on it became good for me just to have someone that I can talk to and not worry about them judging me or telling anyone the things we discussed. And when I got older I went to school for it and now have my Master's in Psychology. And I find it enlightening when people just want to come in and talk and get things off their chests or shoulders. Hopefully this was helpful?

  2. you need an emergency counselor, paying you bills on time is a symptom of something far more serious.

  3. I agree with Kessie.

  4. you seem a little angry - perhaps you could benefit from some therapy ~

  5. DUHHHHH!!!!!

  6. First of all, that question you posted just now was a little confusing.  i dont think you need help to go see a counselor, i think you need to go see one either way (help or no help).  And what's up with the language? You seem like an angry person.  odds are you do need a counselor

  7. Because it's the easy answer. If you had a complex legal question, people would say go ask an attorney instead of trying to be one themselves. Therapists are trained in helping with standard stuff, like anxiety, fear of death, etc. Psychiatrists are trained to handle abnormal behavior, like hallucinations, psychopaths, delusions, irrational fears, etc.    It is typical these days to treat with drugs that must be prescribed by a licensed professional. If you have a more common problem, a good friend could help. It would be difficult to find out enough detail to help completely in this question and answer forum. A chat room of some kind might be better for that.
