Why is ambassy of london slow interms of visa procedures?

My husband had almost done his formalities to settle in Canada through an agent,the day he arrived at the airport in Ontario he was questioned regarding his marital status and his answer was married.Since his paperwork said "unmarried",which was done before he got married,even after informing his agent that that he got married 1 or 2 months back,she said "we see to it later".His passport was with the immigration at the airport in Ontario and was there for nearly 2 -3 weeks without his passport and papers, and finally he was deported and told to send his papers to the ambassy incharge.

As soon as he came back he has send his papers for further investigation to the ambassy and till date there is no response from the ambassy of london.It has been nearly 6 montyhs. Is there any way i can contect them,since i have no much of the information regarding the paper work of my husband and my husband have completely lost interest in it,but still it is me who wants to know about it.please suggest

sweetie, with all the terrorist ideas and attacks in london and glasgow, the paperwork probably is slow. here in the usa you had to wait and still do.

getting a lawyer makes these things easier and faster sometimes. once you make a mistake it gets complicated as well.
