Is this who we want governing our country and forwarding our image to the world? Is this the values of a party we want governing our country and negotiating for us? Are these the values GOP mother's are passing on to their children? Maybe the Mormon Polgamists out in TX are not so bad afterall.

The link he provided links to rollingstone.com which originally reported the story. Rollingstone is fairly credible.

I don't really have an opinion on this. The guy can say whatever he wants to say. I just don't see how this is even an issue worth going on such a rant about. No one's threatening the second amendment. Clearly these people are nutjobs. I ought to attend an nra rally just to see what's so intoxicating about them, what gets people so riled up. The 2nd amendment is in the constitution and recently upheld, even strengthened, by the supreme court. The gov't is not taking away your guns any time soon.

Meanwhile there's an energy crisis, two wars going on, and an economy in the tank.

In the article that you gave us the link to, he did not threaten their lives.  Yes, he was over the top, but he did not threaten them at all.  And secondly, he is not governing our country, he is just a celebrity activist who is doing what he believes to be right.  I mean, would you connect the people who bombed abortion clinics to the GOP and say that it is John McCains fault?  You are going a little to far here.  This is just one man's opinion, and personally, I like his beliefs on the whole gun issue.  And please next time actually read the whole article before you make a point about something and get all worked up about nothing.
