I only want A's from people who ask philosophy Q's and have some practical ideas about asking Q's. Answerers who rarely ask Q's here, since they do not walk the talk, are mostly speculating and hypothesizing. IMO,Importance of Q-asking is learned by doing!

  1. philosophy is all about questions. The term means to seek Truth.

Unfortunately most of the answers and questions are placed here by people who think philosophy has do do with lifestyle, or who think they are making some point regarding topics that rarely have anything to do with either seeking or Truth (you don't have to have a point to have a point).

There are a lot of academics here, or at least people who are extremely well read. These people understand that philosophic concepts are nothing more than questions without conclusive (final) answers. When challenged, a real philosophile will resort to logic, which is the true measure of philosophic truth, and which also, immediately exposes fallacy.

Still there are those of us who seek but who's experience is limited to a modicum of study (like me). Forming questions sincerely, and expecting answers to teach me something always works here as there are some extremely sharp minds who are willing to help.

  2. Because phrasing a question (ideally) focuses enough attention on word choice to motivate you to use terms precisely.  If you don't know what ideas you're constructing a discussion out of, you might as well be building your mental palace out of legos.

So yeah - you can't even begin to reason philosophically or take in much coherent information when dealing with ambiguities at every turn.  I suppose a good philosophy question has other qualities: thoughtfulness, importance, universality, etc... but mastery of terms is of more immediate importance to someone interested in learning.
