Why is beef curry on the menu at my local jim murray?

I thought the cow was sacred in India

So why are they cooking it over here?

  1. Curry is becoming more and more popular, every where in the world.

    Try it.  You may like it.

    in the UK for example, it is EVERYWHERE on the menu.

    The world is becoming globalized, and the foods that go with it.


  2. It could be that the restaurant is run by Bangladeshi people, who are mostly muslim and therefore, the cow is not sacred to them.

  3. Only Hindus worship the cows, the hole of india doesnt follow Hinduism. I bet they get angry when they see an average indian chap munching away on there "gods" over there, maybe thats why the dont get on???

  4. I believe the cow is sacred in India but it doesn't stop the people eating the meat.
