  1. i hated beer at first but now its all i drink

    coors light isnt so bad

  2. whooooa easy now beer is great! their are 2 reasons you probably dont like it.1-beer is a taste you have to get used to. 2- your buying cheap p**s water beer go out and try a good beer for a change i promise you will eventually really enjoy it try some sam adams its expensive but alot better than what your buying. i personally hated beer the first 5 or 6 times i had it now i really enjoy the taste

  3. I believe it's an acquired taste... like coffee.

  4. it's an acquired taste. i hated it for a long time but i kept sipping it every once in a while, and one day, i had a craving for a beer...the rest is history.  try a more girlie beer like sweetwater blue (i don't know if they have it outside the south). it's a nice beer with a blueberry flavor, but it's not sweet. the michelob ultra tuscan orange and grapefruit are pretty good training beers...again, flavored, but not sweet. the michelob is considerably cheaper than a microbrew too.

  5. i can't stand wine coolers. try a blue moon with an orange slice. you can also try a lambic, they are made out of fruit, but they are not cheap. so i guess the cheap beer is probably what you don't like.

  6. Beer is a reflection of one's self. Kind of a beauty is in the eye of the beholder thing. It just may not be for you. It is best to stick with your sweet girly drinks until your "palate" matures.

  7. You've admitted to drinking cheap beer, there's your problem.

Go out on a limb and pay an extra dollar next time for a beer that isn't inherently terrible and report back.  I recommend beers such as Blue Moon, Hoegarrden, Sam Adam's Boston Lager, Sam Adam's Boston Ale, Sierra Nevada, and basically anything with a strange looking tap handle as a decent intro to beer that doesn't suck.

  8. Yes, try a Blue Moon.  Perhaps a Magic Hat #9.  They both have a fruity taste to them and are MUCH more pleasurable to drink.  My advice, skip the cheap beer hun and go straight for the good stuff.  After you've drank a few Blue Moons don't be afraid to escape your shell a bit.  Try microbrews, a lot of times they will have apricot wheat - which is similar to a blue moon.  Microbrews incorporate all sorts of good flavors into beer - raspberry, chocolate (in stoudts, but I do not recommend trying a stoudt until you're well on your way to drinking a full fledged beer).  Good luck - just keep trying different beers, it may be expensive but you'll find your knack.

  9. Anyone who is a beer drinker does not drink wine coolers!  So first off stop drinking the fruity c**p!!

  10. Bite your tongue young lady. Beer is sacred and good.

  11. Untouch-Beer is a reflection of one's self. Kind of a beauty is in the eye of the beholder thing. It just may not be for you.

    That is funny.

I understand what you are saying because I think booze is disgusting. I tried whiskey and it just about made me puke. Some are okay in drinks but then I much better prefer beer.

  12. If you don't like it, then don't drink it.  Drink what you like.

It sounds like you have a sweet pallete, which doesn't mix well with many beers.

  13. I used to think it was gross, and now I like it more (especially certain brands). It's an acquired taste.

You say that you think beer is cheaper, but when you look at hard-liquor, I think some brands of hard-liquor are cheaper per "how drunk they get you"

A lot of the cheapest beers are watered down.

  14. In the words of Ben Franklin, "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

You just haven't found the right one yet.  It's going to take a lot of trial and error, I'm afraid.  Good luck!

  15. I would try a beer brewed with some sort of fruit in it.  Anything lemon or berry should do the trick.  Beer is an acquired taste, so it is not for everyone.
