  1. i dont know. good question though!

  2. Much of it is human error, some is manufacturing error. Other times it is outside factors. Like if you take antibiotics while on the pill you can get pregnant. There is an interaction between the 2 that decreases effectiveness.

  3. Condoms break or get holes in them.

Birth control pills, well they actually fail more than you'd think.  If you aren't using condoms with them then you're asking to get pregnant.  I know lots of girls who have gotten pregnant on them.

IUDs fail too.  They're bad too because sometimes if women get pregnant with them in they end up miscarrying.

Condoms and birth control pills would be pretty close to 100% safe.

  4. It's due to the sheer fact that everyone's body acts differently to different medications.

Condoms are rather obvious for the extra 1 percent.

Birth control pills/shots/etc, will effect each woman differently. There is always 1 percent of people that the medicine does not act as it should for whatever reason. This is why nothing is 100 percent but not having s*x. Besides that, our bodies were made to reproduce by having s*x, and they instinctually try their best to fulfill this goal when they can. It's just mother nature's way of making sure that the race does not die out.

  5. Because one time far far away in one isolated incident someone somewhere once got pregnant. But because of  that one incident, they can't say it's 100% effective.

  6. Human error mostly.  There are a lot of different forms of birth control with different failure rates.  It just depends on certain factors and which method you are using.  Check my links to be more informed

  7. The 10% that doesnt make it effective are- 1. human error, missing a dose-2.Pill not strong enough to be effective because patient did not follow up with Dr.3.Foams and creams are not 100% anyway, it states it on the pamphlet inside the box-4.Condoms not placed on or taken off inh the correct way 4. The rhytmn method will always have a higher risk because of emotions that can throw off a womans cycle 5. And withdrawling right before ejaculation is not and should not ne considered a method because the p***s leaks s***n during intercourse and thats how those little devils get up stream into the v****a-it only takes 1 to fertilize an egg! Hope this helps-From a nurse....And IUDS can become dislodged from the position that they implanted.

  8. Because there is a chance it may break or slip off ...

No BC is 100% not even surgically getting a womans tubes tied ...

FYI tubes tied is only 99% as well ...
