**PLEASE READ**PLEASE READ**PLEASE READ** I have a loved one, who's over 50, and is normal weight but has High Blood Pressure. She has been controlling it by eating right and taking medication about three times a day. She's also diabetic, but she's managing it well. On this past Monday and Wednesday (during preliminary tests for her eye surgery), 8/18 and 8/20, however her readings were quite high, with Systolic pressure (the top number) over 200 mmHg.

Why is it high? How will she lower it? Please pray for lower blood pressure and overall great health to come to her. Atheists please don't be offended.

  1. accelerated hypertension or kidney factor due to the diabetes ,

  2. Sounds like she's not on the right medication for her. She needs to go back to the doctor and get herself on a different combo of meds to find something that works.

  3. My husband is the same way with his BP. It was sky high and he's only 33! He's been on meds for almost 2 years and it still hadn't been controlled which obviously meant the meds were not controlling what was causing the high BP. I finally took my hubby to see a holistic MD. This is a medical doctor who has very natural practices, meaning she avoids meds as much as possible and tries to find natural ways to remedy ailments. She immediately tested his cortisol levels and tested him for food sensitivities. At his very first appointment the doc told him to avoid gluten and dairy as much as possible. We started out avoiding wheat just to ease into things. When his test results came back, he found he was intolerant to gluten, dairy, soy, and egg!! Talk about having to do a total dietary overhaul! He is cursing me for making him give up his most favorite foods like pizza and ice cream, but he is also grateful for this as well because since eliminating these items from his diet he has stopped snoring (YAY!!), his eczema has cleared up, he's dropped 10 lbs without trying, AND his BP has started to come down! I've been telling him for ages to limit dairy and gluten from his diet and he thought I was nuts, until he came to see this doc who thought along my lines and pitched him the same message. Now he's a believer.

Get tested for food sensitivities. It's important and can really help to keep you healthy.

    I hope this helps.
