  1. They say what the words do not.

  2. Actions speak louder than words.

  3. Please be careful about body language.  If it were so accurate there would be no need for other forms of analysis.  Body language can be manipulated but yes, it does often show inner feelings.  Particularly that from the lower body (not talking about pudenda)

  4. to attract the opposite s*x.....lol

  5. Like any language, body language can express many things.  This is especially important when a person's body language contradicts their verbal language.  It can help you to understand what a person is really thinking or feeling.  It can help to reinforce what a person is saying.  Public speakers have been using it for years to make their speeches more entertaining or more memorable.

Body language is important in large groups.  In the business world, a person might not say something, but be expressing what they are really thinking with his or her body language.  This can be important in negotiations, networking, or sales.

In the dating world, body language can tell you if your date is having a good time, or bored.  It can tell you if the time is right for the first kiss, or if things aren't going as well as you would like.

  6. body language will give you your first clue as what the other persons reactions or attitudes are, watch animals and how they posture, the others know exactly what is happening.

  7. Because it can tell you a lot more about what a person is all about than words ever could.

  8. Body language (or, non-verbal behavior) is important because we are much more attuned to visual stimuli than some other senses.  Studies would suggest that we are more influenced by non-verbal behavior rather than verbal stimuli, and respond to non-verbal behavior in ways that we may not even recognize  (what some call an 'unconscious response').

  9. because actions speak louder than words!!

  10. Body language is a very powerful thing to use and look for of other people.  You can tell how a friend is feeling as you walk up to them by their facial expressions, posture, or arm positions and use this information to choose a fitting greeting.  If they're slouching have and have a frown, it wouldn't really be appropriate to come laughing, slap em' on the back and ask them what their deal is.  you'd want to ask them what's wrong or something.  on the other hand, if you are sad and don't want anyone to know, do not slouch, slap a smile on and flail you're arms about if you wish.  though i don't recommend faking your emotions.  or flailing your arms.
