I don't know that he entirely is...Yes, he did say he was retiring, and he should have stuck with that, but the whole "we won't start you, but we won't trade you either" thing that Green Bay was pulling is pretty "retarded" too.

Favre isn't being a r****d.  The Packers organization couldn't make up their mind either.  Favre wanted to come back and play, you can't blame him.  He didn't do this for the media attention, he wants to play football, otherwise he would have just taken the $20 million and stayed retired.  The Packers were being stubborn.  If Green Bay was so afraid to see Favre go to the Vikings or another team that they might be playing, then why wouldn't they want him on their team?  If they know how good is yet, why not have him be the QB and give them the best chance of winning?

He has been this way for the last few years. It's nothing new. He is just another spoiled athlete who thinks the world owes him something.

Despite what you may be seeing on TV, most of us in Packer Country are completely behind the Packer Organization. They needed to move on when Brett made his announcement to retire. Now it seems that he couldn't stand not being in the news and felt the need to start the saga..."will he or won't he?" all over again. We are sick to death of it.

Brett has been acting childish the last few years. Almost seems like since they would not bring in Moss(3M a year and $100,000 ever time he puts a uniform on-can I get paid to get dressed to go to work..no!!) Just watch-Brett has a personal motive for coming back..and it is not good!

At some point  people will see the management was right and then Brett fans can join him in some good humble pie.

Not a r****d, just mixed up.  Why didn't he just wait until this time of year to decide to hang it up or not?  That is what he did the past two years.  I guess in some cases money doesn't take away your competitive nature.
