Question:

Why is channel 7 using such unprofessional commentators for their coverage of the Olympics? It's pathetic?

Tom Williams might look ok, but is useless in China. God only knows why Kruger is there. The commentators are only saved from utter condemnation by Griggs and White

  1. have you noticed that the critize china more then complementing them...they spend an whole hour to examine the stuff ups in the china opening ceromony....out of all those star people in the olympics opening ceromony in which one person light went out they critized so much.....

also have you noticed they keep comparing to sydney olympics and saying how the sydney olympics were better...STOP CRITIZING

why did channel 7 get to host it anyway they've done a **** job in both athens 2004 and beijing 2008....

and they keep mentioning how china had to admit to the little girl miming to the song in opening ceromony and how it was embarassing....the miming for the little girl was the whole point it symbolizes the future peaceful generation following in the footsteps of good but the commentors and news fail to do some research before critizing dont they

LASTLY pollution beijing holds the whole of australia nearly in this concetrated city of of course its going to be polluted if australia was concentrated into a city size it will be more polluted then beijing.....china pollution for its index population is fairly small

while australia population index to pollution is huge and cause more pollution then china....if australia had the population of china it would be 100 times worse then china

  2. Hopeless AFL indulging commentators.

  3. I agree

  4. Channel 7 Are pathetic there is no doubt about that! The best thing you can do is watch the SBS coverage- its way better

  5. The media is a extremely well developed brainwashing machine. When you begin to find it pathetic, you should realize you have better things to do with your time.

  6. I actually don't mind the coverage, between it and flicking to sbs every now and then i think it is pretty good.

I like the fact they have someone who doesn't know what they are talking about, it's entertaining. They are pretty much always paired with an expert so i don't see what the problem is.

Often they ask questions that i would want to know as they don't already know it themselves whereas an expert probably wouldn't think to explain those things. I guess that's why they've done it, obviously it is also to get females to watch canoeing in the case of Tom Williams.
