  1. Everyone is competitive, just so happens China is cleaning up these Olympics and it definately has a lot to do with being on home turf.

  2. There's nothing wrong with being competitive. Different events require age.

  3. theyre bad communist people.

  4. China is a country with a corrupt government, that thinks it's ok to cheat. Those gymnasts were listed at 14 earlier this year, and the government  agreed their younger than sixteen. There trying to impress other countries.

  5. Because they have trailed the EU and USA in gold medals historically.  They are also trailing the EU in the 2008 Olympics.

EU already dominates the medal count.

  6. yeah i know that pissed me off...that one gymnast says she 16...theres no way

  7. Communist countries decide at a very young age who will be olympiads. This is all they do through childhood on is train for their country. They pretty much do nothing else.It would be as if we decided when you were 3 years old you were going to be a swimmer.Almost every day of your lofe would be in the pool training,For these athletes pretty much a medal is the only option.Communists view winning the Olympics is like winning the world. They want countrymen to beleive their pholosiphy of government is the best.If they beat other governments at the olympics its almost positive propaganda for their government.

  8. China is being very dictorship-y

They are holding the Olympics and feel like they need to live up to the expectation

Most Asian cultures are all about honor, and what's worse than to lose on home turf?

I think China's leaders are being crazy too under the pressure the Olympics are putting on the country.

They're being pretty weird about police and security and presentation (they wont let people drive because they dont want the country to seem poluted. they also have some people on basically house arrest) . They were trying to prove i think that they're a capable country, but I think they may have proved they're just the opposite,
