  1. Coffee has far more caffeine than soda.

There is no scientific evidence for the mistaken but common belief that caffeine consumption causes stunted growth in children. However, as with adults, nausea, urinary urgency, nervousness, or other effects from an elevated caffeine intake may be reasons to limit the amount of caffeine that is consumed each day.

  2. Old wives tale that coffee stunts the growth of children, my daughter used to steal, and I do mean steal, my coffee when she was little, now she's eighteen and almost 6 feet tall. And there is more caffeine in some soft drinks than others and therefore more in some soft drinks than coffee.

  3. there is more caffine in coffee than soda, but it will not stunt growth
