Why is computer not letting me download AVG 8 from CNET?

Question

It says 'the current security setting will not let you download this file'. I tried switching off my firewall, switching off spybot but to no avail.

Can someone help? What security setting?

And it does it with both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

don't download avg. it is missing a bin file. i don't know what that is but it' would allow you to search for update. get avira. next best thing. or if not as good.

No idea. Try getting Avira if AVG no work downloado.
