  1. Corkage is not regulated anywhere in the world. That's why they call it corkage. The price is dictated by the owner of the place. In my restaurants before I don't charge any because you entice them to drink and then they order food to go with their drinks. I had to put a stop to it when some groups will just bring their drinks and spend the whole night and order very little-in the meantime we provide them glasses,ice,and service. Now I charge a little to value clients and high price for freeloaders.

  2. Different restaurants have different rent to pay and they have to make up the money somehow!

  3. I don't think it's regulated anywhere. Just like any other kind of business, the owner dictates the price. Each restaurant charges differently based on whatever circumstances.
