  1. Counting cards is not illegal in law. Buisnesses have the right to refuse service to anyone if they feel it is detrimental to their operation.

  2. its not illegal. casinos just dont like it cuz they lose money.

  3. Well actualy it is not illegal. The Casinos just don't like it. Blackjack is one of the only games that you can actauly have a chance to win so the casions just want to keep the house at advantage over the players.

  4. Is it illegal or do casinos just not allow it?  I'd be surprised if it were actually a criminal offense.  Casinos exist for 1 purpose: to steal money from the patrons.  When someone is counting cards, the casinos become less efficient at stealing said moneys.  Hence, the beefy bouncers.

  5. ... even if you count cards in Vegas, it's no guarantee

that you will win a lot of money

    and it's NOT illegal

  6. It's not.  There are memory methods, such as those taught by memory expert Harry Lorayne, which allow you to count cards mentally.  Obviously, there's no way to enforce that rule.  But casinos often reserve the right to kick people out for any reason they want, and often if they see you trying to count cards or mark roulette numbers they'll send a pit boss over to harrass you.
