Why is coverage of the Olympics so awful???!!!!!?

I never know when anything is on, (descriptions on direct tv just list sports not the actual time of the sports, or when anything starts). Most of the best events (i.e. men's basketball, Michael Phelps quest for 8 golds, etc.) are shown on tape delay because NBC believes they will get higher ratings waiting three hours on the West Coast than with a live broadcast. No one watches tape delay anymore because the results are plastered everywhere (on yahoo.com, espn.com, msn.com). Why can't they show the coverage live on USA or on MSNBC on the west coast? Does USA or MSNBC have anything better to show? Also, why do they insult us west coast viewers with live written in the top right corner? We are not stupid we know you are showing us a tape delay.

They cant have it live until like 8 because there is a huge time difference. Here on the east coast its a 12 hour difference between here and china which means when its 3 in the morning here its 3 in the afternoon there.

go to www.wthr.com....try that, i think youll like that site, thats where i go to watch all the olympics...course im on the east coast also, so that helps the coverage here....
