Why is cricket still better than hockey???

hockey is a better game full of ction and als oquite live compared to cricket.hockey is widely played all over europe,australia and korea.hockey gave india olympic medals and made india the most feared team in atleast one sport.we can only win a medal in olympics via hockey.whereas cricket is played only in 7 active countries and that ooo in just 4 countries ,it is popular.why is it still preffered????

I think you are a hockey buff, hence this question. Cricket is India's national craze, because it is played across the country, whereas hockey is not. Children start playing cricket from young age and that too on road sides/streets and small fields or open areas. This has made cricket more popular amongst all the sports in India. Hockey is played in selective schools/colleges and hence not so popular amongst the mass.

surely hockeys needs more luck on promotion as even cricket is not as watchable, unless u r a diehard fan
