  1. 38 and still one of the best centre halfs in the country.

    thats why.

    WATP

  2. We are not building towards 2010 we are building towards Macedonia in 3 weeks time. In 2010 it will be the finals and if we don't qualify, it won't matter how good a team we have.

  3. he shouldn`t even be in the squad it was a friendly give the young boys a chance too shine

  4. Unfortunately many pulled out. I know a couple were through injury, don't know about the rest.

The one most affected is Burley himself, as with this friendly so close to the first qualifier, he was hoping to assess the team for minor changes etc, etc, etc.

Anyhoo I will still go for a draw of 2-2. Not bad when you are 5 men short of your starting 11.

  5. Why not? if he's good enough for Walter.. he's good enough for Scotland....... God help us!!

  6. it's only because Caldwell is injured but i do i agree, we are lacking in cover for defence

  7. he was only included in the squad after other players pulled out due to injury.

  8. who would you pick in his place......   no one better
