Question:

Why is desperate for McCain to choose Palin, but fine for Obama to select a man who said he lacks experience?

Democrats are saying that the selection of Palin shows that McCain HAD to pick a woman, for God's sake, to ever have a chance to become president. But Democrats see little desperation in Obama needing experience on his ticket by selecting Biden .

Point is "Double Standard".

  1. Barry has no grounds to say Palin has not experience. She's had more executive experience than he has. She's run a city and a state. He's cast a few votes.

I think this lack of experience c**p will die down fairly quickly.

  2. Because Biden has the experience Obama lacks, so he is willing to work with him and is ready to become President should it become necessary. Gov. Palin has no foreign policy experience, has only been Gov. for 20 months, is younger than Obama and is being investigated for wrongdoing. He is trying to get the female and evangelical vote. She is against abortion. She once dissed the VP slot. WHERE is the proof that Obama was told to pick Biden or ... I think some of you just make up things. Give me a link please.

  3. I am from Alaska and I do think this is a joke.  I personally like her socially. but for crissakes She is clueless.  she needs to stay home and raise her children!  She became governor of Alaska for the wrong reasons. It is an embarrassment!  If you think I am jealous of her pretty face you are wrong because I have a pretty face too and I voted for her and I regret it.  My husband was a Republican Party leader and he thinks McCain is shooting himself in the foot.

  4. Point is, too many liberals

    McCain/Palin

  5. McCain didn't have to pick a woman. Besides, he picked an intelligent person that happens to be a woman.

At least he picked one that actually means change. Barry didn't!

  6.   Obama was smart. He knows he lacks experience,so he picks a guy like Biden for back up.It's like a rookie cop on patrol with an old veteran. The rookie believes he can handle any problems that might arise, but in the back of his mind he glad to have the old vet. with him.

  7. the dems are running scared

    McCain/Palin!

  8. The entire experience argument is no longer relevant. McCain complained that Obama did not have experience but then picked Sarah Palin who does not have much experience whatsoever. Furthermore, in my American Government class that I am taking this semester my professor listed the inexperienced presidents that the United States has had over the last 50 years. This experience argument is just a myth. JFK did not have a lot of experience, Bush did not have a lot of experience, Bill Clinton was just a governor.

  9. well Palin never said McCain lacked experience.  But Biden said Obama wasnt ready to be President.

  10. it's actually very simple. If the Liberals thought that Palin wasn't a threat to them they wouldn't be attacking her.

She has got them shacking in their boots obviously. Here's a list of Biden's accomplishments

  11. Your point could not be disputed by anyone that is still using their head this election. That leaves out the obamamessiah followers of course.

I would say that too if I was an Obama gusher, but since I'm not, I'll just say that Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama and Biden put together!

One more thing... There's something I get from her. Maybe it's the heart and honesty of a person that lives on the frontier. Does that make sense to anyone? It's hard to explain.

Any way, I think McCain made an excellent choice!

    Americans for America

    McCain/Palin for America

  12. Where a person's reproductive organs are is irrelevant to how good that person would be as VP or possibly president; a person's experience is NOT irrelevant, though it's also not the whole story.

As for "said he lacks experience" -- uh have you nevr experienced a presidential election? During the Primaries, all the Dems and all the Reps hammer each other as worthless, since those are their opponents. Then, after one wins, they all make kissy-poo and think the nominee is the greatest person ever, in order to win in the general (a notable exeption being that ego-maniac, Republican in Democratic clothing Lieberman, who ran as independent when he didn't get the senatorial nod).

That's what it's always like, in both parties. Always.

When Obama will need people with experience is when he's in office. Picking Biden was aa decision to help him get elected -- that's always behind the running-mate pick. Always.

But Obama picked based on a relevant characteristic; McCain on an irrelevant one.

  13. Your question confuses me, but Obama went with what his party said, YOU PICK BIDEN ELSE WE WILL CHOOSE HILLARY was their ultimatum!

McCain had a choice and picked Palin, shook up the vote, good job.

  14. wtf?

  15. Excuse me. Didn't Obama base his whole campaign on "hope and change"? How does Biden fit in to either one of those?

You can't argue with a liberal Democrat. They don't understand logic!
