  1. Diversity is important in a work place because it teaches tolerance, provides opportunities for both personal-business growth. Notice how a place is commonly, (in non Private/family owned business with secluded hiring) as diverse as it's customers. Is this a reflection of Workers on customers or vise-virsa?

  2. It's not. Diversity is way overrated.  Just a form of political correctness that has taken off without warrant.

  3. Do you mean diversity in job/tasks?

Yes, it is important for some. Meaning a worker can multitask. So, if one of the employee absence, replacement can be easily found. Secondly, multitask can provide more chance/ flexibility/variety to the employee. So, they are not too boring of doing the same thing day by day.

But for some company, the management might prefer not to have diversity, so that the worker can concentrate on his/her job and be efficient. Having efficient workers means profit to them.

  4. It is good to work in a multi ethnic ground. You get to learn to live with different kinds of people and you can gain from the experiences they share.
