  1. The gentleman who invented the Dr. Pepper syrup named it after one of the local physicians in town, somewhere in Texas I believe, and his name was Charles Pepper or something very close to that.


  2. they have to be named SOMETHING dont they? unless you know..."carbonated water with sugar and artificial flavor and caffeine" sounds any better...
