And how come it seems feminists make a fool of people with this debilitating condition?

  1. Because it sounds like dIs-lexia. Replacing the I with a Y throws people.

  2. I know of no feminists who "make a fool" of dyslexics and any who do are just ignorant.

I also question your assertion that it is a debilitating condition.  My son is dyslexic and with the correct diagnosis and help he was able to achieve good academic results at school including in English.

Debilitating means devastating, unbearable, incapacitating and weakening and I dispute that dyslexia is any of these, many see it as a "gift"  The brain just works differently and when this is diagnosed and the correct help given their is no reason why the dyslexic cannot go on to be successful in any area they choose, as the website below shows.

I dread to think what my son would have felt if I had at any time told him his learning difficulty was any of these things.

  3. I've never seen a feminist make fools of people with dyslexia, just people who can't spell.

EDIT: I don't make fools of people who haven't had my education, which, by the way, isn't all that high compared to others. If someone here has dyslexia and I've criticized their spelling, I apologize.

EDIT: My sense of humour dies when I can't recognize that something is funny. You made it impossible.

SPARKY: I couldn't believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important! if you can read this forward it.

  4. Maybe it's because only great minds with dyslexia can read this.

fi yuo cna raed tihs, yuo hvae a sgtrane mnid too.

Cna yuo raed tihs? Olny 55 plepoe out of 100 can.

  5. Its a medical term.

I don't know that they do.

Regardless the spell check works for everyone.  I can spell - I just can't type.

  6. Becuaes htey're maen. ssaholes.

I'm not a feminist! I'm joking about it but its something that I struggled with. My problem is mild compared to some that I've seen. I read that dyslexics brains work very different and see things from many different perspectives, I think thats rather smart.

  7. Well it wasn't hard for you to spell it and some of the people on yahoo answers made a fool out of you, like that 16 year old guy who went by the user name Jesus ; P

    As for that peon Richie?

He was a drug addict during his high school days which is probably the reason why he is dylexic, eccentric and such a kook to jump into the English Gulf without his clothes, dressing up as a woman in a wedding dress twice and well the list goes on as to how much of a kook he is!

Want to hear a real shocker?

Most psychopaths have very poor literature skills and dyslexia is one of them.
