Question:

Why is ear stretching with silicone a bad idea?

I've gotten my ears up to 16mm now using a combination of taper stretching and silicone stretching. I swapped to silicone because of the price of tapers. The silicone gets popped in, stretches, heals. No fuss, no puss. Nothing goes wrong! I hear all these people saying it doesn't work when it does! Why is it so strongly advised against? Silicone is used in implants! IT ISN'T BAD FOR THE BODY.

  1. OKAY  :) lol

you can stretch your ears however you want, it's fine with me :)

  2. ear lobe stretching is supposed to be a slow, patient process. my ears are at 1 3/8" and it took me 2 years to get to this size.

anyway the reason why theyre recommended NOT to be stretched with is because again, if you jump sizes and stretch too quickly your ear will tear rip or cause a blowout. some people also cant use the silicone jewelry to stretch their ears due to the tacky surface of the jewelry resulting in tears and blowouts.

  3. i don't judge.  if that is what you want, that's fine, but are you sure that's what you really want??  although you can always go back by visiting a plastic surgeon.  I know a girl....ok she is a 32 yro woman now and she had to spend $7900 to get her ears fixed.  i guess if you have that kind of money or 100% sure ear stretching is what u want, go for it and ignore what other people say.
