  1. so that the heat of the sun won't be concentrated in the equator and so the people living on Equador won't get roasted.


  2. go to bookshop take a look at new world atlas or other atlas and they will show u diagrams of how the earth tilts giving us the 4 seasons and with such precision.  it rotates on its own axis giving day and night and at the same time around the sun giving us 365 days. its a perfect example of perfection, gravity, wind, etc.

  3. I would venture a guess...in the Northern Hemisphere, since winds would run due west to east , there wouldn't be much variance of precipitation over the continents--it would run in bands. Some areas would always be drenched; to the east of these areas, deserts.  The opposite would be true in the Southern Hemisphere. The tilt of the axis guarantees that there will be movement of air currents and precipitation over the entire earth and  seasons (and growing seasons in the earth, with a time of year where the earth "rests" from growing and replenishes itself with decay.)
