Why is everybody hating on Georgia this year?

Why is it that when I hear people talk about the National Championship...people are saying everybody but Georgia...the only time Georgia is brought up is when people are criticizing them. They're a legitimate team. They were one of the hottest teams to end the year last year, and returning almost everybody. Still have one of the best qbs in college in Stafford, Moreno has shown he should be a great running back, receivers are good....plus picked up #1 freshman receiver, and the O-Line is always good at Georgia. Defense is still as solid as ever. Just wondering why everybody writes them off as not gonna win it all this year?

i agree with the person above. people generally hate success if it's not happening for them. i know i do.......but i also don't like the 'poor me, poor me' route that people take with questions like 'why do people hate my football team'. no sympathy here, it's a dog eat dog contest. wouldn't you hate my team if i wanted my team to be #1?

I agree about the okies and the bulldogs at the end of the year.  Okies looked great against WVU.  The big 12 in general I think will be very impressive, even better then the Big 10 this year.

I sure don't. There my pick to be the national champions this year, and I'm not a Georgia fan either.

No one can believe that Georgia could possibly be the number one team. Usually you see teams like Florida and USC, but never Georgia.

because this is the season to get away from there!!!!its freaking hot down there!!!!!!and the worst part is that it don't rain there!!!!

because they are supposed to be a good team this year...hence, the bullseye on their back.  People always love to hate the favorite and they are trained to love the underdog!! It is just human nature-!
