Why is everybody pickin the rockets this year?

theyve proved themselves that yao and t-mac cant win on their own and ron artest is just a headcase who is prolly gonna get suspended sometime this year. they havent been able to stay healthy and have no true point guard. why is everybody picking them to win the division and go to the WCF?

WHY? because, they got two hard-nosed defenders who can shut down Kobe Bryant. Kobe will not be able to score on Battier and Artest.

everyone says there favorites because of their aquasition of ron artest i say their chances did get better but it still won't be enough to win the title

they won 55 games last season the majority of it without yao , i agree that health is a major concern but with the addition of artest it adds an elite defender and another scoring option to carry the load they were also ranked 3rd best on defense so think avbout it a tandrum of artest and battier on the floor means locked down perimeter defense and three 20point scorers think about it they may not win the devision but if they are able to get to the wcf they are a worthy opponent to who ever they will face

They are all picking the Rockets because they got Ron Artest, but come on, I doubt that they can hang with the Spurs, Lakers, or Hornets, its just dumb announcers and people hyping them up on Sportscenter but seriously Yao will probably just get hurt again and s***w over their team like last year.

Idk....just cauz they got artest....dat doesent automatically make u a championship team. Yeah i agree...they really dont have a true PG on thier team but they got like 6 below average gaurds. I c dem maybe comin out da 1st round finally but im not gonna give it 2 dem yet. T-mac and Yao stay injured
