Why is everyone always in a hurry while driving?

I am tired of people pulling out in front of me. Especially in Ohio, people dont stop at stop signs.

We have to realize that there is stupid inconsiderate people that have no regards for other people. These people live in their own little world and don't come out of it until one of us gets killed! That is why we have to drive offensively as well as defensively. I live in the wasted state of Michigan and you are not alone.........they are everywhere.

...it seems that a lot of normally polite people become crazy when they drive...its kind of a domino effect...when somebody cuts you off, it can be tempting for you to cut the next person off and it just snowballs until everyone is rushing and taking it out on other drivers around them...and there is a certain power when you're in control of a car that some people take to the extreme...they feel that if they're in front of everyone else that they are some how more important...at least thats how I see it...

Well , with gasoline at over $4.00 per gallon, I'm sure  people

want to idle as little as possible (if at all) at a stop sign.

But truthfully ,there are probably as many different reasons      

as  there are drivers.

However, I think technology is the main culprit .

Technology does things in nanoseconds, whereas nature does things the slow way  for the most part. And right now mankind is caught in the torrent  of technology.  For more insight  into  this,  do a Google or Wikipedia search on the phrase “the  singularity”.

Take a drive in Amish country and you won't find too many

horse-drawn buggies blowing stop signs.

You also won't find the Amish trying too hard too keep up

with technology, (although even they are slowly getting

  sucked in).

They don't call it “The Rat Race” for nothing................

I live in Ohio as well. I think that everyone is in a hurry because they have overextended themselves in so many ways. People need to stop spending so much money and time that they don't have.

Ohio is known as a place where everyone is inconsiderate and always in a hurry.

Move, maybe to Los Angeles or New York where they all take it a bit easier.
