Why is everyone complaining about this years E3?

I think it was really good, so what if its not as good as previous years.

The announced games look amazing:

-GoW 3 [already semi announced]

-MAG

-R&C QFB

-I Am Alive

And the already exisitng games they showcased were really cool too.

Like Mirrors Edge, Resistance 2 [Leviathan FTW], LittleBigPlanet.

At least we didnt just have an update to change the look of THE MENU SCREEN and news that we stole an exclusive buy having to pay for it instead of making a good console *cough*M$.

I don't think that this E3 was bad. There were a lot of interesting news and announcements. ;-)

Well Microsoft totally ripped off Nintendo with their new avatars!  They look just like Mii's!  And they said "Were else can you find avatars on a game console?" - or close to that.  Sony definitely had the best presentation at E3 even though the guy who was speaking during the financial report on a LittleBigPlanet level screwed up like 100 times.  I think E3 this year had a lot of awesome games.  The new games that were announced are sweet plus they revealed a lot from previously announced games.  I can't wait until LittleBigPlanet comes out!  MAG looks like it could be an awesome game but it looks like it could be total chaos and unorganized but we'll have to wait until E3 2009 to see the improvements.  I think games need more split screen online like Warhawk.  Overall E3 2008 was good for Sony but everyone else says it stunk because Nintendo and Microsoft both sucked.

i have a wii. i was VERY dissapointed. the wii is sucking. i now regret getting it. im buyin a ps3 soon. the only good thing about wii is that its easier to aim in shooters and they still s***w that up. i completely regret buyin a wii. the only games i like on wii is re4 and madden 08

the only good games that are coming to wii is deadrising and the other shooter i forget what its called

I guess cause many ppl were reaalllyyy anticipating a 'REAL' God Of War trailer, and not a cgi one, which didnt drop even a hint about the new game. Other than that, I guess it's because there was nothing really special about, it was just average other than square eniz making 'that' announcement. It was good, but not great, and because everyone expected it to be amazing,and it turned out to be Ok,people said it sucked.....and that's why people are complaining bout e3.....

you sound like a fan boy congratulations. E3 doesn't have the spark it used to and most game developers just release new info on games when ever they feel instead of waiting for E3 plus almost all the games are sequals.

sony stole acheivments, and microsoft stole miis and nintendo is promising to make the wii do what it was supposed to do in the first place.

better then last years E3 but worse then the year before that one.

People are complainig about Nintendo's E3.

"WII MUSIC YAY!

WII SPORTS 2 OMG!!"

"Sir what about a new Zelda game, or mario?

"...........WII MUSIC!!!!!!!!!"

Microsoft also is blatantly copying Sony and Apple with their new dashboard, not to mention their "Avatars".

I really don't know why either, I thought the games looked great and I thought Sony really "won" at E3 this year

Micro$oft is good with those cheap tricks, I have lost faith in Square

On a positive note, though it might not be as huge as FF13, Left 4 Dead is multi-platform now

I saw the screen shot with the Leviathan in a Playstation Magazine, and I was like "Holy s---!"

I wonder what God of War 3 would look like on an HDTV, I mean, the gigantic fissure in the ground with the volcano in the background... just awesome

Although I didn't like Microsoft at E3 ( like I ever did), I thought Nintendo was the worst this year, and I'm sure 90% of the people here would agree; I mean, a new plastic add-on for the "revolutionary" Wii-mote, another version of Wii Sports... it just sucked

EDIT: Plus Micro$oft's new avatars are just a blatant rip-off of the Mii's and Home
