  1. cuz ur "the ohio state univ." sucks.

  2. Because they got bumped.

  3. Well it starts with the fact that when they play someone other then the lame big 10 (which has 11 teams) they get STOMPED. Look at the past national title games they didnt deserve to play in. If they can beat USC it will stop otherwise it wont stop and they have a right to bash a team who cant beat anyone worthwhile.

  4. Because all anyone thinks about is the past 2 national championship games. Look at all the answers in here, their sole argument is that. OSU is a rich program, with many victories throughout history against quality teams too. Look at 2006 for example, we beat #2 Texas and #2 michigan to name a few and all people say is "OSU sucks. they got blown out in the national championship." Those people can't seem to look beyond that and realize that OSU beat the #2 ranked team twice that year. Last year was a rebuilding season, we were a team filled with underclassman. As an OSU fan, I wouldnt have put us in the national championship game. If WVU could have beat pathetic Pitt, then they would have been there. People hate teams on top- USC and OSU are the prime examples.

  5. Funny that people do, really. Just jealousy about a good program(especially recently). Anyways, most of the other hate comes from the fact they have haven't lived up to the #1 ranking in the past 2 BCS title games. Seriously, they got rocked in both. Excuses are excuses but, until they beat a SEC team in a bowl game (a major bowl at that) then there will still be haters. As far as people saying they SUCK, well, they're just dumb, because they have won BCS games in the 2000'S, just look at the '02 national champ against miami and '04(i think?) fiesta bowl against notre dame.

Also, a lot of people bash the Buckeyes due to the Big 10's drop off in competition. It's just not where it used to be. However, in the next couple years, i think it will get a lot better, Zook is working his magic at Illinois and Rodriguez should get his recruits rolling in for michigan to get that spread offense working. Penn State and Wisconsin are always pretty solid football teams, and I don't really see that changing.

The buckeyes don't SUCK, they just haven't proved they're worthy of the #1 ranking that's been tagged to them the last 2-3 years.

  6. Sorry to say it is NOT going to stop.   One of the main reasons is that most OSU fans keep on whining about people bashing them.  You don't hear Sooner fans or Mountaineer fans or Gator fans or any other team fans whining about their team getting bashed.  It's part of life.  It's going to happen to everybody.  If you stop whining about it, people might leave it be.

  7. They've brought it on themselves with two back-to-back poor performances in National Championship games.  The answer is in their hands - beat USC on September 13.  Nothing changes the tone like results.

  8. A lot of people hate schools that are winning. Everyone hates the Sooners as well. In college football teams on the coasts have always had more biased media coverage. Especially the East Coast. Teams in the Central part of America don't get as much national coverage and media hype because people don't watch them as much.

Don't worry let them talk trash. It is just good locker room material for the team. They hang up those newspapers and quotes of people who said all that stuff and use it on the field. Ohio State will give USC a run for their money, but USC has the home field advantage and I think that will be the deciding factor. Terell Pryor is going to lite up the USC defense though, even without Beanie.

  9. No idea.  They are one of the highest paid teams in college football!

  10. Jealousy, pure jealousy! Just like a few of the losers who answered this question by bashing us some more. They aren't worth the sweat on my a#&.

  11. Put up or shut up.  If you can't walk the walk then don't talk the talk.  I would be too embarrassed to say that I was a fan of Ohio State.

  12. Win a big game (or a bowl game) against a good team.
