  1. yes i know they are but they should of just kept manny until the end of the season and then not pick up his option

  2. Holiday's numbers outside of Coors Field are a red flag.

  3. Have people noticed Holliday's numbers away from Coors?

    .278 AVG, .343 OBP, .449 SLG

That's not too remarkable for an outfielder. Bay will make a reasonable $7.5M in 2009, compared to $13.5M for Holliday. And Bay has similar numbers at home and on the road (better on the road), unlike Holliday. IMO, it made a lot more sense to go after Bay.

  4. I'm a Jay fan and watching Manny hit doesn't reflect his stats. Sometimes, he might be perceived as a slacker, but at the end of the day this guy was a leader and Bay is younger and won't have the same presence. Btw. No guarentees ull get Holiday.

  5. Let's see for 1 the rockies wont let him go 2 he doesn't have a 1 year deal you mad because you lost manny

  6. red sox would have to offer a lot to get holliday, and IF the rockies trade him, it will be overpriced. the red sox have parted with way too many prospects, basically destroying themselves down the road, maybe 2014, 2015. see how jason bay pans out for at least a year under the scrutiny of red sox nation, and the pursue another LF. they made the right move in trading manny, but should have definitely gotten more for him.
