Why is everyone killing each other over the olympics and who's better than who?

My country is the best, no my country is the best, no their country is the best. COME ON PEOPLE WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL YA'LL. WE ALL ARE HUMAN BEINGS, LIVE AS ONE! WE ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER, WE ALL HAVE EARS, HANDS, EYES, ETC. STOP DISPLAYING HATE AMONGST OURSELVES.

early on i was feeling that way, but we should all be proud of the human accomplishment period.

I'm with you.  But after the Olympics are over, we'll go back to cheering for our home teams, most of which have players from around the world (here in the US, anyway).  MLB and NBA do more to promote friendship between the countries than the Olympics because fans cheer for players without regard to their national origin.

I agree with you... i'm not the one trash talking other countries though. If one country is winning I'm on their side. if another country is winning I'm on their side. But in some sports I'm for my country(America) but after that I do not trash talk the other nations who wins.
