I saw this icon and it was like

"Harry Potter obviously doesn't own a baby naming book"

and another one was

"Where the heck was Ginny when Harry named his second son"

I don't really get what's so bad about the name.

Is it cause it rhymes or because Albus it's not a kid's name

  1. Would YOU like to be named that?

There's not even many good nicknames...

  2. I don't know

I think the name is very suitable

    =)

  3. Well, a lot of wizard names are weird in Harry Potter, anyway, I guess. But I personally think that the name would be an honor to have. You know, if I was a wizard kid.... Maybe they should have split it up. James Severus and Harry Albus or something of that sort.

  4. I think that the names themselves are an honor because of what they meant to Harry and Ginny.  But it is kind of a mouthful for a little kid, especially if they had a lisp!  Plus kids are cruel, if that was a real little kid they would probably be teased to no end.

  5. Personally, I thought it was a bit over the top. I mean, Harry goes from absolutely HATING Snape as much as he hated Voldemort himself to naming his son after him? I don't know, I think that it was a good sentiment, but I also thought that it was rather lame and unrealistic (even for an entirely fictitious story). Albus, of course, I can understand, what with the relationship that Harry and Dumbledore had. Now does the name sound good? Probably not, but that's not the reason that I'm not exceptionally fond of it.

  6. I disagree that it should be split up. One is named James Sirius, two very important and influential people. The other is Albus Serverus, two headmasters that changed Harry's life.

Albus could be Al and Severus, Sev (like Lily called Snape) and its better than Albus Percival Wolfic Brian!

  7. I think the name is Brilliant! I think Ginny would have known what it would mean to give his one last gift (that of naming his son), to the two people who worked tiredlessly to ensure his survival....to "the bravest man I ever knew" and "the greates wizard who ever lived"... I think its fitting!
