Why is everyone making such a big deal about michale phelps?

the cameras caught the whole thing so why are ppl mad about it?

s***w the cameras what about the touch pad in the pool that the swimmers hit?  That didn't lie its one of the best state of the art timers ever!!!!  people just want to try and maek him seem so not important.  That will never happen as he is a swim god!!!!

Electronic touch pads don't lie.

His pad triggered 0.01 seconds sooner. So he won.

End of story. No sense crying about it.

Some people are just upset. If you think about it, .01 of a second is very very close, so it's very hard to tell. I haven't seen it yet but I believe them that he won it. Some people just won't accept that unfortunately.

Some people are in denial and that's what that guy from Serbia gets for talking.  I loved it the shot they took before the race and both of them gave each other that look.   Another reason is that Phelps is really making Americans in the United States proud, and he's kinda taking the spotlight from the Olympics.  The only way to end that is for him to lose but it didn't happen and tonight we get to watch his last race of the Olympics...lets see what happens.
