Why is everyone so interested in Dane Swan now?

I asked if anyone knew who he was first and now everyone is talking about him. i dnt get it.

Not too sure, However, the same thing happened last year too............  I think it might have something to with the dream team as he always scores well on a weekly basis.

A good consistent player, would be good to see him start on the ground more often as he tends to start on the bench.

footy followers know who he is, they watch the brownlow medal, know he finished close.   Any one who  says they didn't know who he was doesn't watch the footy.

Dane Swan is a very under-rated player. He is awesome. He's been having very consistent games and he has finally caught some fans' eyes.

i saw him debut against the WCE in 2003 and i liked him from they day on (even though i go for WCE)

he is one of my fave players in  the AFL

i have only have had answers for less than 6 months... so yea thats why u may think since u starting asking ppl about him, now people r talking bout him...

dane may be underrated, and unnoticed, by i noticed him and rated him highly from the fisrt time i say him

If you watch every Collingwood game and listen to the comentary you would know that Dane Swan is the quiet acheiver of the club.  He always gets one of highest disposal rates, is effective with his kicks, and generally is all over the ground running at the ball.  

We have so many high profile players, that the real 'stars' are ignored by the media and public.

Go Dane Swan!  He came close, last year...this year Im praying he gets the Brownlow  Medal :))
