Why is everyones avatar angry faced?

The last three or four questions I have answered all showed avatars that are pissed off, is there something I am missing?

I guess everyone is having a bad day...but not me..lol

I once asked a question about just that. It seems to me that the majority of people with unhappy avatars are angry with the world and their answers reflect that. Of course, not all.

As far as it looking tough, I believe it looks more insecure and gives an aura of having a chip on one's shoulders.

yours doesn't look angry and neither does mine - i have noticed what you mean tho - why would someone want to make an unattractive avatar with snarling mouth or furrowed eyebrows!
