Why is everything dropping in price in runescape?

why is everything dropping in price in runescape,

eg. sardiom sword was 10m, now 6mil

eg.dragon chainbody was 10, now 7.5mil

is everything going to keep going down in price, stay the same or go up?

when theres more of a demand then you get a higher price so aparrently there isnt a high demand... or too many ppl are selling

This happens in a lot of games that use a currency system along with an "auction" system.  Most of the time it is due to the market being flooded with one product.  It's simple Supply & Demand.  If there are several items on the market, the item becomes harder to sell and there for the people selling the items drop the price to get the item off their hands and the money into their pocked.  If there are few of the same item on the market the items are sought out and therefore the seller usually will want to get top dollar for the merchandise. The world economy works the same way.

I think it is either due to everyone going back for school and nothing is in high demand or there is a huge update getting ready to happen
