Why is everything so politically correct these days?

Question

Everywhere I go, people tell me to watch what I say or do. Oh no you can't smoke here you might offend someone who doesn't want to breath foul air (I say "you don't want to breath foul air, why are you in downtown la!"). I get sick of having to watch my mouth because kids might be around when I go to my buddys house, or having debates with people but not being able to bring up politics or religion because someone might get offended. I have no problem offending people. I'm not racist so I feel I can say whatever I want about people. Why doesn't society get a sense of humor.

People are too scared to face the truth. As they say 'the truth hurts'. but I know for sure that PC is hurting us way more than it's doing any good!

i feel you completely. the whole religion thing is huge. i hate that. how everything has to change 100% because people come to OUR country with new religions. i dont care if you have your own religion, but it shouldnt dictate everyones lifestyle if your choosing to come live with us.

Yes..l agree with your comments one hundred percent.

We cannot f**t today as we will offend someone.Bring back the days of yesteryear,where we could have clean innocent fun where we could say or do something  without someone taking it the wrong way.Times have changed and it is not for the...better.

I know exactly what you mean! Where I live in Australia, they call it the 'Granny state' cause everyone is so conservative. I wish people would relax and just live life!
