  1. Children learn best through cause and effect and learning at their own pace.


  2. Young children bring all of their senses to the learning process.

    They learn best through hands on creative play.

  3. Experimentation is where young children develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills.  It helps them through trial and error, and helps build their self esteem when they achieve a desired goal on their own terms. It is also the canvas where they develop their interests and talents and imagination. Yay! For experimentation! Always carefully observe and supervise but don't interfere if nothing seriously dangerous is happening. Always affirm and support their ideas.
