Why is false information on products very dangerous? give examples of possible situations that may arise.?

  1. If I don't label a food product correctly, I may cause harm to people who are allergic to the undisclosed ingredients.


  2. Because they can pose a danger or risk to human life and or property.  

    Examples:

    Before the general public understood radioactivity, radioactive potions were marketed as tonics to improve health and make you live longer.  Everyone now know that radioactivity causes cancer and contrary to what was advertise drinking radioactive potions makes you sick and live less.

    for another example think of laptop batteries, say a manufacturer tells you a certain battery is compatible with your laptop and you buy it and try it and then you find your laptop inop because the batteries exploded inside your laptop.
